PeopleSoft user groups are independent customer-run groups that provide a forum for customers to share their experiences with PeopleSoft products and services. By Joining a user group, you will become part of a network of customers, which would become a collective voice to communicate suggestions and issues to PeopleSoft. You'll also have the oppurtunity to hear firsthand from PeopleSoft management, experts, technology, and services. User Groups are an excellent opportunity for you to get the most from the PeopleSoft investment.

PeopleSoft user groups are created and managed by customers and are aligned by Region, Industry and Products.User Groups Meet at least Once or Twice a Year to network, share best practices, and provide input/feedback for future PeopleSoft releases.


User Group Type	Description
Regional User Groups	Meet with other PeopleSoft customers in your geographic area at RUGs. These groups primarily serve as forums for customer-to-customer networking. Membership is open to all industries and product line users.
Industry User Groups	Customers from a common industry or type of business come together to share experiences, independent of geography or PeopleSoft product. These groups meet to discuss industry trends and best practices and provide input to our industry direction.
Product User Groups	These groups are comprised of PeopleSoft users who share a common area of interest—typically by PeopleSoft product or technology. They meet to discuss product and technology trends and best practices, and provide input to our new product direction.
